DAVID M. ARONOWITZ has been a trustee of the Company since May 2006. He is currently serving as President and Chief Executive Officer of The Gnoesis Group, LLC, a legal consulting and staffing company based in Columbus, Ohio. Mr. Aronowitz previously served as Executive Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary of The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company from March 2001 to July 2007 where he oversaw all legal matters as well as community relations and governmental affairs for the company. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Haverford College and a Juris Doctorate from The Yale Law School.
Mr. Aronowitz also serves as Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Columbus Children's Hospital, as well as a member of the Boards of Franklin Park Conservatory and the Center for Child and Family Advocacy. In recent years he and his wife Carol have been increasingly active in their participation and support of the innovative programming at the Wexner Center for the Arts. Mr. Aronowitz serves on the Board of this multidisciplinary research facility for contemporary art located in Columbus, Ohio.
Mr. Aronowitz is a member of the Audit Committee, Executive Compensation Committee, and the Nominating & Corporate Governance Committee of the GLIMCHER Board of Trustees.
