Timothy J. O'Brien has been a trustee of the Company since May 2007. He has served in numerous leadership roles at the Ford Motor Company from 1973 through 2006, including, Vice President — Real Estate, Vice President — Corporate Relations and the Deputy Chief of Staff for the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. O'Brien received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan and a Juris Doctorate from Michigan State University Law School.
Mr. O'Brien currently serves on the President's Council of the Michigan Environmental Council and the Board of Trustees of Oakwood Healthcare, Inc. He is a member of the state bar associations of Michigan and Florida as well as the United States Supreme Court and United States Tax Court. Mr. O'Brien is a strong advocate of environmental issues as is evidenced by his involvement in the adoption of the amendments to the Clean Air Act and his role as Chairman of the Southeast Michigan Consortium for Water Quality.
Mr. O'Brien is currently an independent business consultant and resides in Dearborn, Michigan. He is a member of the Audit Committee, Executive Committee, and Strategic Planning Committee of the Board of Trustees.
